Severe exhaustion. That pretty much sums it up.
I really would like to add more to this post, but I'm still trying to recover from it...albeit it's been about 4 days since the event.
Quick summary:
Broke a AV Fami and a PVM, both by accident.
Met up with friends, but didn't have time to hang out with them because of setup
Didn't get much in terms of purchases, but I did manage to sell off some stuff that I've had hanging around.
My PS2 is dead.
I bought a 3d printer that I have yet to build, let alone use.
...that's pretty much it for now. I'll go in depth hopefully tomorrow...or at least within a week.

I didn't realize...
The time in between my last post and now. Wow...
Anyway, finished moving in a sense that 90% or so of our thing are in the new house. I got my media room kinda set up. I just got a folding table to use as a makeshift desk so I have a stable table to type and mouse on...it's working OK so far.
Stood in line for a midnight release of the SNES classic...something I thought I'd never do. But there wasn't that much of a long line...perks of living in a small(ish) town.
PRGE is just around the corner, and I've volunteered myself to help out a friend here with his booth and LAN area. There's much to do before it starts, so I'll need to jump in when I can, and soon.
Currently using my old 37" LCD as my monitor...dunno how I like it...I might use it as second screen after I get my setup all taken care of in the media room, but that's gonna be some time later.
More later. Now that I have my real keyboard out, it'll be easier to blog...as long as I don't get lazy again.

Almost there...
Finalizing things with the move. For the meantime, I've just been packing more stuff away and transferring them to my in-law's house nearby our new place.
Since the last post, I've packed away all but my PS4 for my gaming collection. I've just been using for streaming so we can watch Netflix shows and Game of Thrones....Just lost Viserion to the White Walkers.
I just recently unpacked my Raspberry Pi (yeah, I packed it away) and let my niece and nephew play around with it. They've been enjoying it...a lot...along with my brother in-law. Nice to hear that they're loving the "retro" gen games.
I still have my computer here, but I put away my keyboard and mouse. I'm using a Bluetooth mini keyboard and trackpad that I found at Goodwill temporarily, mainly just to get my downloads for streaming.
Just today, I got a Bluetooth keyboard hard cover for my iPad...Figured it was time to blog a little...feels good to type with tactile keys than the on screen keyboard on my phone or tablet.
It'll probably be a few more weeks until I get the new place (4 bedrooms, FTW!) set up to a point where I don't have to worry about living through boxes.
Stay tuned...hopefully I can get some mods done when the new media room is set up...and maybe show some pics of the set up in the media room.

That point when...
Well, I'm gonna stop blogging for a while. We have shifted our focus for the next couple months to getting our current home in shape for sale and acquiring a new home for our family/collecting habits.
Will continue (or post more, at least) as soon as we do the move, which could be within the next several months.
In the meantime, I've already packed up all my consoles in containers (filling up 4 27 gallon bins just for the games and consoles alone!) and several boxes with miscellaneous games and peripherals . All I'm keeping out is my current gen consoles (PS4, XBOne, and Wii U...no, I don't have a Switch yet) and the Raspberry Pi running Retropie...you know, to sate my retro gaming needs.
Stay tuned...and wish us luck!

2017 inaugural post...
Yeah, I'm 16 days in with my first post.
Not really much happening. Nintendo Switch is coming out in March and I'm not on the pre-order list. That leaves the Wii U to be hacked. I'm on that boat for a while, but I haven't really read anything into that just yet, but it will happen before the end of the year.
I did manage to get the NES Classic console on launch day last year (really lucky). Recently, it's been hacked so more games can be added to it. Yup, I did do it, and now my Classic has a total of 56 games to play!
...but I also got a Raspberry Pi 3...
I've been messing with it since the 7th, and so far it's been solid, with the exception of arcade games. It's really hit and miss, and with many different arcade emulators, testing can be tedious.
I also just realized that I didn't post anything last year about PRGE.
To sum it up; I played liaison for some friends to get their booth prepped. Helped a friend out to get stuff taken down for his booth. Got to meet a bunch more friends from forums. And got much closer to completing my black label NES games. The NW Retro Swap Meet is coming up this coming weekend, so I might be able to get a couple more...hopefully.
As like I mention every year, I'm hoping to blog more. Only time and my mental state will tell.
